Meeting to discuss anti-war activity in Ireland
There are many anti-war groups active around the country but there could be better communication and co-ordination between these different groups. Groups working together and sharing experiences and resources will be more effective and productive than individual groups working in isolation. With this idea in mind a number of anti-war activists will meet at the Ha'penny Inn in Dublin at 1.30 pm on Saturday.
All those interested in opposing Ireland's participation in war are welcome to attend. The objective of the meeting is not to start a new anti-war organisation but to share our experiences, thoughts and ideas. This meeting follows from a similar meeting which took place in Galway last month. Naturally those who have already been active within various anti-war groups will have more to contribute but non-activists are also welcome to attend.
