“The reality is that, even while our leaders have learned to parrot some acceptable environment-speak for European consumption, we are living right now through a sustained and remarkably successful backlash against the environmental movement....

"The shift in attitudes over the past 20 years is being rolled back. The lessons learned from decades of bad or non-existent planning are being torn up. And the backlash is coming from the top, led by the present Government.”
Fintan O’Toole

We categorise events by location of the event. As all events are of course of national importance, the "National" tag should be used for an event that takes place in more than one county, a nationwide day of action, etc.

The capitalists? Certainly, they've used every ounce of PR science available to man.

The Green Party? Yeh, them too. They've done everything possible to convice ordinary people that environmentalism is just a scam to assuage the consciences of well-off well meaning liberals. The bin tax is the best example, but everything they've done reeks of just another inhabitant of the dung heap selling themselves in a slightly different way.
