Tony Blair Coming To Galway

Speculation is rising this morning with the publication of the Galway Advertiser that Tony Blair will be attending the EU Summit in Galway next Thursday. The summit is to take place in the Corrib Great southern while Tony Blair himself will be staying in The Great Southern, Eyre Square, nice and central with big square to protest in, how convenient!

While there are plenty of people in Galway who I am sure will give him a good welcome, it is imperative that as many people travel down to Galway from across the country as possible to make our presence felt. The main reason this summit is on in Galway of course and not Dublin is to minimise the amount of protest, so lets show them that they run but they can't hide.

Several organisational meetings are being held in galway this week to plan events. Most however are not being publically advertised due to garda infiltration of recent activities. For details just ask around the usual heads, and if coming from outside Galway just arrive on the day.
