When: Saturday 29 November 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Where: Wynn's Hotel, Abbey St. Dublin 2.

@ 40 people attended

Event had not been posted on indymedia, untill 2 days prior to event
Crowd seemed to be mostly NGO`s and working for reform of WTO and co

Not too many activists, a pity, theres a need for all groups at all levels who are opposed to WTO at present, to communicate with each other and try to change things

Pity indymedia Ireland has not yet reached the level it should or could, whereby it becomes the main communication space for those working for global justice

What can you do
The already successful ‘world bank bonds boycott’ was mentioned, it seems this has yet to really take off in Ireland
http://econjustice.net/wbbb/

a request was put out to D&D to try to use indymedia a bit more.

But at least some people from different areas are starting to talk to each other.
We are only starting to really learn how to communicate efficiently

Things can only improve
The next irish social forum should be interesting
