6:30 weds 26th at Bewleys Westmorland street
Hi
we be meeting up again this time in a cafe (as it was pointed out to me that we may be excluding under 18's )
last weds week was enjoyable and there were new faces and old, there about 15 of us there and we caught up on that latest
as ever come down for a chat about what goes on in the palace or advice on producing content or to talk about what you saw over the fence the other day.
Bewleys was the only place i could think of that stays open late( they want us not to go to pubs but there few other places open late at night eh)
suggestions of other cafes to meet at welcome but any already sugggested to me close at 6/7 again place subject to change so check back later in the week
ill have a piece of paper with the indymedia logo on it if you don't recognise me or others (ta ec)

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5went down @ 7 and it was closing up time in bewleys,
did it happen, did it move elsewhere?
perhaps if it dident happen the next one could be next week, and perhaps they could happen on every second week.
what other cafes are there that are open late?
ive done some hunting around and found a good spot for next meeting:
@ccess, 168 parnell square, at top of moore st, across road and down a bit from conways.
normal cafe upstairs, downstairs @ 20 computers.
i think we should def go to a place where there is connections, this will enable us to do on the spot workshops, or post from the meetings.
looking forward to hearing from people

there is also the option of doing workshops in places with wireless connections. this means someone from indymedia must bring a laptop and we use that during meeting.
this is free and perhaps more versatile.
cafe @ chester beatty library @ dublin castle has a W lan connection, so to does the george and front lounge pubs, these are both mostly gay pubs, not that that matters?
does anyone else know of other places where imc meetings could happen?
another idea was to have them in connolly train station, cafe and connections there?
what do ye think
lads
can you please inform us of what went on last wed, was there a meeting.
can you comment on whether there will be a meeting this wed? in @ccess.
do you think there is a need for these informal loose gettogethers and workshops.
i do.
is there one, if no one else went who are you expecting to reply?
i organised but didn't get on my mail till yesterday couldn't make it but i i ask a couple of people could they be there with a i but they couldnt so i tried an experiment in just not being there cos the orignal idea of was that noone in particular needed to be ther for the meting to happen
it was shame as 15 people turned up and they all said we should do it again, i think its not a time for workshops just talking that well have to be arranged some other time,
i still think the event page means people don't see event till only just before if they check the page at all, altougth im sure it will improve and they layout certainly has , although i stil think there's a sticking point with not putting them as posts aswell...
had i emailed the gathering on imc-ireland would that have made any difference
did anyone else turn up
so was bewleys closing at 7 thats no good...
chesty beatty closes too early too.
pc
as stated earlier
i checked around and reckon @ccess cafe, on top of moore st is best bet- open till late, normal cafe upstairs, internet access downstairs
what about next wed 11th dec. 6.30/ 7.00
