In the ongoing attempt to stifle voices of dissent against the war, The Catholic Worker 5, also known as the Pitstop Ploughshares, appeared in court today in connection with the disarmament of a US Naval plane at Shannon Airport earlier this year.

Along with supporters and fellow anti-war protesters the group met at the Spire in O'Connell Street where letters of supoprt were signed for:

Later there was a vigil outside the Four Courts in memeory of Iraqi dead.
The announcement of a trial date was postponed until later this month.
