There is no record of a "Jolly Green Giant" on the electoral register. It must therefore be assumed that the above is a meaningless threat.
The Green Party support the bin tax and neo liberalism. THe GP in Ireland have never been in power but in other countries where they have been such as Germany they have shown themselves to be just the same as the other anti working class parties.
The Greens are fundamentally a capitalist party despite any rhetoric they spout out.
We need candidates and parties that stand up for working people not the Green Party.
The Green party are not anti-working class. Nor do we believe that people should be classed. Those who classify people cause far more problems than they solve.
But it's not people that classify people but money and power. We could pretend that there is no substantial difference in priveleges between Tony O'Reilly and a working class father of four in Mulhuddert, but that would be denying reality. Surely you must see that there is a small group of people who wield a vast amount of power and wealth and who effectively make all the major decisions that affect us all. That is to say that we live in a class society. I'd really like to be able to wish it away, but I can't and nor can you. Simply denying that it exists is tantamount to sticking your head in the sand.
Those who believe in class politics don't believe that people should be classified. But there's post modern bollix and then there's reality.
Those who aid and abet the increased pauperisation of people throughout the world lead us to classifications.
I support a proper recycling programme provided that the real polluters are tackled first. To start off with they are paying a ridiculously low rate of tax but no the working class (hope that is not too vulgar for you) have to shoulder the burden not only in a proportionately larger amount but also to add insult to injury first.
I'm beginning to think you live at the end of a rainbow down there in Galway Niall. When ye get into coalition I'm sure the PD's will happy with giving ye the Finance portfolio.
Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
