After many requests from the sites readership Indymedia Ireland now has its own event calendar.

When publishing advertisements for meetings, workshop, protests and the like please mark them as "Event Notices" and specify the date. This way your story will appear on the event calendar.

If you have any suggestions for improvements to the event calendar or the site in general please leave a comment or use the contact form.

Having posted an event on the new feature, I'd find it handy if the event calender also indicated if there were any comments.
Maybe similar to the newswire stories e.g (full story and 2 comments).
