Contributors and readers of indymedia.ie will all by now be familiar with the infantile interjections of Trolls, such as the one calling himself Seáinín. Posting knee-jerk, argumentative, hateful and offensive comments which at times verge on the racist misogynist and homophobic, the Troll posts his comments in the hope of getting a rise, say his critics. "But" says veteran user Sticktothedebate " the phenomenon will probably never disappear altogether, its the price of having a democratic media without censorship.
