The site has just been updated with some new functionality allowing our content to be easily syndicated. For more info check out http://www.indymedia.ie/syndication.php

One of the major benefits of this syndication is that Irish feature articles are now syndicated to the Global Indymedia website.

Another syndication related update is the addition of the global newswire which allows readers to see at a glance whats going on in the rest of the Indymedia world. This newswire is automatically compiled and updated hourly.

The software which runs the site is now available under the open source GPL license at http://www.indymedia.ie/oscailt/
