European Education Forum: call for workshops

Demonstration and Forum during summit

During the summit of the European education ministers the first European education Forum will take place in Berlin. There will be demonst´rations as well.

Call for workhops!

Dear activists,

With this education forum, simultaneously taking place to the official European Education Summit, we like to offer a platform for critical and alternative discussions from “below”. Pupils, students, teachers, educators and trainees are welcome to participate in this forum. The program will consists only of workshops, panels and meeting which are organised by the participating groups!
In this way, the process of political opposition to the current educational policy, which has been initiated on the European Social Forum, shall be continued. Thus, the education forum shall also serve as a means of preparation to the 2nd ESF in Paris in November 2003.

To create such a discussion from below we invite all interested and supporting groups to organize workshops or panels as well as individual contributions within the meeting sessions of the forum.

For all participants it is important to realize that the contents of the workshops respective expenses and the selection of disscussants lie within the responsibility of the organisers of such workshops.
The EEF staff is only responsible with respect to the organisation of the broader scope of the meeting.
Furthermore, we like to emphasize that all preparational work concerning the broader context as well as the preparation within the workshops in particular, are open to everybody an all interested people are welcome to join.
