Workers' Party

Dear Comrades,

Just a note to say the party website has now been updated with details of our candidates. We had been unable to update it earlier
due to technical problems outside our control. Candidate profiles and photos can be seen on our "Elections" section and we should
have the Party Manifesto online by tonight. The URL of the website is www.workers-party.org

The next few days will be vital to our campaign so we are appealling to all members and supporters to put in the maximum effort to
the campaign.

Also, any issues which come up at doors and which could be used as press statements should be passed on to me.

Fraternally,

John Jefferies
Press Officer
The Workers' Party

Can you tell me, I'm very curious, what ever happened
to the 'Official' IRA? Are they the 'professional
revolutionists' of the Workers' party, to paraphrase
Lenin? Do they still exist?
What's the 'True Republican movement' (or is it the Official
Republican movement?) Why were Workers' party members
targetted by them in Newry??

Dear 'Martan'??
at least we did not spend the last 30 years murdering workers and running drugs

I noticed you avoided my question.

I heard that, when not involved in counterfeiting US
dollars the Workers' party has links with drugs.

A group called the 'True Republican movement' (or
Official Republican moveement'?) was thought to be
involved with the importation or drugs (Newry, 1994.)
Or so the Irish Times would have me believe.

According to the article this group were split from the
Offical IRA, and targetted members of the Workers' party
(and have continued to do so up til recently.)

Sooo.....can you fill us in on what's going on in Newry then??
