Irish Anarchists Launch Indymedia Counter-Offensive Against Pentagon Onslaught.

Top Irish anarchists today expressed dismay at Pentagon misuse of the word anarchy. A US military spokesman, General M. Otors, has been accused of semantic shenanigans with his statement that “Yup – Baghdad is in a state of anarchy and I don’t mean the good type.” A leading anarchist spokesman said decent, honest anarchists have launched a major counter-offensive through the good offices of Indymedia: “It’s true that we’ve had sweet FA to say for nearly a week now. We couldn’t advocate mass civil disobedience at Hillsboro because the RUC are mad fuckers and, besides, most of us didn’t go. And when Saddam was overthrown, we couldn’t think of anything to say. But this is different. This has really touched a nerve with us.”
