Seamus Breennan, the Fianna Fail Minister for Transport is going to be putting in an appearance at the Kevin Barry Cummann AGM in UCD Tonight at 7pm. CFE Activists will be meeting at the blob in the Arts Block at 6.45pm. Join US and show your opposition to this government.

"Haider needs to be halted"...from doing what exactly? As far as i understand he is going to speak. And you want to stop him speaking because you dont agree with his politics? You have appointed yourselves to obstruct someones right to free speech, and deny others the right to hear his fascist bile and decide for themselves who the real enemy is.

Haider and the FPO are not fascist they are right wing populists. They have freedom of speech. Why should we go out to Trinners at the drop of a hat just for another right wing European mayor.

The fact is that Brennan and his crew are partly responsible for the war in Iraq and he will be introducing fees this summer.

hes a holocaust denier & a fan of hitlers "labour policies", he wants to achieve an all white austria. you dont think he is a fascist i do.

hes not just a harmless eccentric. he has given "respectable" cover to open racism & nazis use his party as a focal point. thats why i was at tcd last night.

as for the anonymous fool, no one knows what you are involved in. the fact that you keep repeating the same inane & irrelevant themes time after time doesnt say much for your intelligence or sanity.

i have absolutely no objection to protesting Haider, what i was commenting about was the calls to STOP him speaking. I agree wholeheartedly that he is a fascist, but I am concerned by the undemocratic and reactionary activities in which some (not all I know) people seem willing to engage.

i was correcting astrids first reply where she used the term "trot".Sorry if it somehow offended someone. it is also ignorant and patronizing of "Trotskyist and proud" to assume that i dont know what the term means. Being a socialist i have read the works of Trotsky along with Stalin, Lenin, Marx, Engels Bakunin, Blanqui, Blanc, Proudhon, Kropotokin, Connolly, Gramsci and Bukharin amongst others, so please don't question my knowledge.....

SA are not 'Trotskyists' nor 'Trots', nor 'Trotsyite'.... and what a GOD-DAMN stupid argument to be having..... the point of this thread is advertise Seamus Brennan's visit to UCD, to call for a protest against Brennan, it is NOT about Anarchism Vrs Socialism (or whatever labels you call yourselves)
