Succesful Blair/Bush Peace Summit Reported on US media

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Tuesday April 08, 2003 22:46author by The Unquiet American - Fascist World Union of Free Democratic Republics

No mention of Hillsborough protests

Listening to the NPR (National Public Radio) in the US there was mention that Blair and Bush had held their peace summit. There was no mention of the demonstrations reported here on indymedia.

The reports were all brief and conveyed the information that there was a dispute between the allies Bush and Blair with Blair wanting a stronger role for the UN. However, Blair made a great point of saying that the government of Iraq must be by the Iraqi people. His voice quivered with manly Christian emotion as he ejaculated the rhetoric of peace and spoke of the shining, joyful faces of the liberated Iraqi people.

So far, no one that I've talked to here has heard anything about protests greating the criminal war mongers.

Looks like sitting in the street and getting assaulted doesn't make the news these days.

Cheapstake Blair smuggling Bush into Ireland, how insulting and belittling is that to the el presidente of the world. Poor el presidente was holed up in a decrepit shitehole, one horse town, for a one horse cowboy, in the middle of no where, hidden from the world. Like an embarassing relative, not allowed to go out into society for fear of thousands upon thousands of protestors overwhelming him. Kept hidden from wider society, to hide away from critcisms and revolting irish people. I expect el presidente was terrified, what with so many bomb scares greeting him upon arrival and thousands upon thousands of protestors. Gosh we hardly got to see el presidente, it was as if he was never in Ireland. Don't bother coming back again, something tells me el presidente got the message, 'You're not welcome here'.

Few grassroots from Belfast. Eamonn McCann gave a great speech, unlike the two-faced, Sinn Fein waffler. Could anyone post a copy of McCann's speech. Whose side are you on? Clearly Sinn Fein are on the side of the imperialists as they implement imperial policy in Ireland.

Sinn Fein were at the hillsborough protest, and also at the Belfast city hall protest, Eoin whatisname was one of those on the sit down protest.
