Hillsborough heroes...

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Tuesday April 08, 2003 00:47author by Jimmy

Three mile sterile zone my arse.

Anti-war protesters block road within 100 yards of Butcher Bush!

They came two by two, mixing with the locals till they were within 100 yards of Bush and Blair. One observant cop realised something was wrong, but it was too late. As the terrorists shook hands on the steps of Hillsborough Castle, off came the protesters disguises (ordinary clothes) to reveal the white anti-war costumes. A lie down protest across the road, within 100 yards of Bush and Blair! OK - so they were carried off by cops within a couple of minutes but the mission had been a success. And, surprisingly, the small crowd of locals seemed, on the whole, to back the protesters. (There was one idiot waving an Ulster flag and cheering for Bush - like he would know what the f**k it was.) The success spooked the cops - within minutes the riot squad were on the street and the army had sealed off the road with steel barricades.

Fifteen dedicated peaceful protesters versus 200 cops, 100 soldiers, steel barricades, army mechanical diggers, riot squads, police dogs, helicopters, and spotter planes.

It's amazing how dangerous a few peaceful protestors seem to be in the eyes of the establishment!!!

Hello fellow protesters! I survived the port massacre this morning at the Oakland docks (okay, I got there after the shooting stopped). But we all heard about your actions throughout the day as we continued marching in the streets and I want you to know we love you. We thank you for doing what we can't (since Bush can't show his face in California). Good tactics, good coverage, and the best of all possible targets...congratulations!

The whole world is watching! Ireland's too good for the likes of Blair and Bush - tell em to swim home, if they can remember where that is. Whose country does Bush live in, how many massacres did his people carry out. Shame to take their evil to Ireland. Shame to commit genocide in Iraq.

Bush slept his first night outside of the USA since the declaration of War as a guest of Elizabeth the second of England and Wales in one of her impregnable fortresses.
By the usual standards of British hospitality that was a "calculated snub".
think about it.
Hillsborough is not Terceira USAF Azores base now is it?
What is "She" saying?
did "She" invite him, or did "He" invite himself?

We exiles could never get within 100 yards of the Jolly Rancher. I'm so jealous.
Thanks again.

Congrats on Direct Action in Belfast. As someone who moved to England from Belfast a few years ago to study, and has since got involved with D.A. as part of the anti-war movement, I'm really glad you pulled this off in Belfast.

I never really got involved in protesting at home. I used to get pissed off with the fucking Sinn Fein youth trying to hijack every peaceful demo. I'm happy to see that the anti-war movement in the north of Ireland is now able to shake off those associations on this.
