Question for Irish Indymedia Folks

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Sunday April 06, 2003 20:32author by Anti-Fa

Just a quick question!

Recently, one of your number came through the U.S. screening a video produced by your collective about the Genoa G8 protests, entitled "Berlusconi's Mousetrap." Many local activists viewed, and others missed it, and we've decided it was an excellent video and are interested in purchasing an American format copy. If you could post a comment letting me know who to contact about accomplishing this, it would be most appreciated.

Oh yeah, and give Bush a nice welcome for us - he doesn't really come out to our part of the country anymore, too hostile.

Cheers!

Is the body count not a little much?

Seriously do we have to play the game of counter guessing the civilian casulties like this. Can it not be assumed that those who oppose the war do so without the need for 900 or 9000 civilians to lose there lives. It must be accepted as fact that if there is a war there will be civilian casulties, that however, in my book, is not why you should oppose the war. The 'revolution' may not be televised be no doubt there will be civilian casulties, I oppose the war for the motives behind it. I oppose the war because it is a war of greed. I oppose the war because it is wrong. No amount of civilian casulties will change that, if 1 civilian died i would oppose it and i will remain in opposition when (or if) it reaches 10,000 but i don't need the figure shoved in my face in such an inhuman fashion.
