Riot Police Attack Peaceful Anti War Protesters - Again

In an unprovoked attack riot police manhandled Peaceful antiwar campaigners, despite unwarranted provocation the protesters remained calm and kept an amazing amount of discipline.
New World DisOrder Comes to Ireland
Are you getting used t it? they hope so.

George Orwell - eat your heart out -
1,000 gathered outside the Dail to protest about Ireland continued use as a US BASE from which an unjust and illegal war is being launched.
Irish people say not in our name!

Once again the Garda proved themselves incapable of conducting themselves in a right and proper manner, our so called peace keepers have failed us again.
Who ordered in the Riot Cops to what was a 100% peaceful protest? was that a political decision? What about the democratic right to protest? or are we seeing the actions of a country no longer Neutral, but at WAR!

riot uniforms worn by gardaí did not carry identification numbers, Why not?

Mr McDowell Minister for (IN)Justice tried to distance him self from the Garda Over-reaction(and admited there was no violence)Shame on you!

The two anti-war protesters arrested outside the Dáil last night have been released from Garda custody (one only a youth) Suspect use of Public Order Act Again

- good luck to Edward Horgan in his High court challange over the use of SHANNON AIRPORT by the US Millitary war machine

"Peaceful "protestors bWHAHAHAHAH.
you lot bitch and moan when you get jostled by the cops, you cry when the cops dont have any numbers.you lot damage public property as well as a foregin govts property, you hassle and abuse those who have a dissenting view, because it doesnt fit your naive world views. Now when force ends being applied to you you all cry about facists[The most over used word in this whole farcical grouping].If there was GENUINE fascisim alive and well,we wouldn't be listening to your whines.Because you lot at that demo last nite would be banged up 60 to a cell in some god awful dungeon, whilst having electrodes being put on more sensitive parts of your bodies.Or being shot in the morning and having your parents pay for the bullets[Although since you are all well off to be able to protest I'm sure Daddoy an Momay could afford a whole clip of ammo].Grow up and realise that if you are going to protest you are going to be roughed up if you block public roads.Take your lumps and learn from them. You big crybabies!

...if indymedia.ie were able to trace lone gunmans ISP number, then a group of lads could pay him a visit...

That's his job not ours.

We'll only ask him to trace ppl who are threatening slandering specific identifiable ppl here repeatedly ;-). And that's only if we agree to do so in an open democratic and accountable way.

Michael has all the apparatus in place - unlike him we respect the right to privacy around here and will not be tracing anyone.

Thats right Seattle, W.A. U.S.AI stumbled upon this article by accident while loking for info. on the recent Chile Protest riot. This lonegunman fellow should find more creative ways to get a rise out of people instead of harrassing the people who essentially give him or her's freedom. We have the same problem in the states, especially Seattle. A man is a man give him a gun he is now a coward give him some power and a gun and he is a bastard. Try benifiting your country said lonegunman (A very creepy name by the way) instead of suppressing your country.
