Another protest in Derry by the Damned (Direct Action Against Merchants Of Death) against the presence of raytheon, the US giant which is the world's largest missile manufacturer and leading maker of cluster bombs.

The Derry campain against raytheon spear-headed by the Foyle Ethical Investment Campaign (FEIC) bore fruit this Tuesday when Derry City Council voted to invite raytheon and FEIC to a meeting to clarify the nature of raytheon's activities at its derry plant. It remains to be seen whether this major war profiteer (7,000 bombs dropped on Iraq in last 12 days) will tell the council the truth. When invited to Derry by nobel peace prize laureates John Hume and David Trimble this raytheon said they were "only making software".
