After a slow funeral March from shannon to the Roadblock GRASSROOTS AGAINST WAR Buried the Coffin of Irish Neutrality. (Its gonna take thousands to get back in there to dig her up!)

A Good old fashioned WAKE followed, with Laughter ,Song and an open Mic. Children
as young as 7, International Peace campaigners and an Iraqi women were just some of the
speakers who attacked the illegal war and Irish complicity.
The Garda not moved by there argument would not let them pass, to make there protest.

Cars and Busses were stopped and searched at roadblocks around Shannon, Searches for
“Dangerous Weapons” found nothing but helped add to the air of repression. Dangerous
Weapons? dont they see the irony - Peace protesters, War Planes and they are searching
the Media for weapons!
Will all protests now be stopped before the airport of was this group singled out for
special attention? Overkill, With about 3 Garda (I kid you not) for every protester it must
have cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to protect US bombs from the protest songs
of these peace freaks.
