Anti-war protestors target raytheon, Derry
09.50 Thursday
Around 12-15 anti-war protestors have succeeded in entering the premises of weapons manufacturer raytheon in Derry and bringing work there to a halt. They are now engaging in a peaceful sit down protest in the building. One of the protestors is dressed as a weapons inspector and is requesting access to raytheon's weapons of mass destruction. raytheon, one of the world's largest manufacturers of weapons, produces the tomahawk missiles and cluster bombs used by the US forces in Iraq.
