Jimmy Breslin reports that General Mike Jackson, commander of the British forces in the invasion of Iraq, was an officer of the Parachute Regiment and participated in the Bloody Sunday Massacre in Derry in 1972. Jackson comes out of Sandhurst, was in the intelligence services and was with the British Army torture centre in Belfast. Breslin concludes that Jackson is now doing what he does best: attacking defenseless people. Thus Ireland's role is made clear: a laboratory for imperialism.
