after a short discussion of fifteen minutes duration Mr Mac Diarmada was escorted by officers of the Policia Nacional de Espaņa from the Consulate entrance.
He has said in a statement to the Policia Nacional that he wished to express his outrage at the illegal act of agression on Iraq by the USA and the use of Irelandīs defence resources (a neutral country) in preparing that aggression.
I have used my "get of jail free card".
The Policia Nacional de Espaņa have verified my identity with the Irish authorities and have declined to confirm if those details have been passed to the US consulate.
Mr Mac Diarmada will return tomorrow.
I suggest you do similar.
