An Anti War picket is ongoing at Top Oil Garage in Amiens Street. About 20 people are participating, Blisset was filming so expect some home movies later. We had a discussion with the owner and asked him if he would phone Top Oil to complain about their working for the US military. He replied that he was afraid to do so in case he was blacked by Top Oil & put out of business.

If you picket Top you might as well picket Timoney Fire Engines, Intel, Xerox, Smurfit, tesco, UCI Cinemas, Dixons, Currys, CRH, JSME in Santry etc etc all doing buinsess with coalition military forces. However I suggest you leave Irish citizens alone and let them get on with their buiness rather that try to put more people on the dole. Do you want Irish kids going hungry as well as Iraqis?
Make you protest elsewhere and in other ways.
Or so I hear!
unlike the other loudmouths on indymedia you are actually doing something practical. The next step is to increase the economic pressure and stop the US corporations or at least slow them down.
Talk about going for the minnow. Leave the man alone. Your protest (which did not have 20 people) is really stooping low. Many of your own cousins, uncles, aunts, family members probably all work (perhaps indirectly) for firms linked to US global organisations. Why dont you picket them in their homes????????
It is always someone else that is to blame. I was prosecuted for just following orders. Now surely you're not going to tell me that someone that's just trying to make some money should be prosecuted. I mean, they shaved the heads of collaborationist whores and kicked them out of communities after V-Day didn't they?
TOP Oil is a target because they facilitate the passage of US airplanes through Shannon. The campaign against them has only just begun.
