About 300 people- students , catering staff academics and office workers assembled in St pat's quadrangle at 12 o'clock today to protest against the war. The college library and resource centre closed for ten minutes.One minutes silence was observed and white peace ribbons distributed.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3Around 500 gathered at the lake in UCD at 12 for ten minutes. A good crowd considering we are out of term at the moment. Back in term next week, and further action will be taken.
Are you the person who is putting up the posters in Pats, if you are fair play to. Who the feck kept taking the Feb 15th ones down though? I would be heading to a lecture, see the posters, come out of the lecture and then some of the posters were torn down. I saw one that someone put back up and had obviuosly been crumpled judging by the state of it.

I put some posters up but not the majority of them. I put up photos of Bagdad residents ,they all got taken down too. Email me if you want to get a group organized in the college. 300 was an estimate.
