The Alliance for Choice, will protest at the Dáil at 13.00 on Wednesday March 12. The Alliance is campaigning for free, safe, legal abortion to be available in Ireland.

The Alliance for Choice, will protest at the Dáil at 13.00 on
Wednesday March 12. The Alliance is campaigning for free, safe,
legal abortion to be available in Ireland. It wants the government to
recognise the needs of women who travel abroad for abortions.
Alliance for Choice is a recently formed network of pro-choice
activists who worked together to defeat the Governments anti-
abortion referendum last year.The Alliance will continue to campaign
for the legalisation of abortion in Ireland.
A major event is planned for September, to coincide with the 20th
anniversary of the 8th Amendment to the Constitution.

Jump To Comment: 1this is great stuff, the government of the last Daíl cynically brought the issue of abortion to the public forum, failed to win over the voters to retract from progess made ie: the x-case. then defeated silently retreated on the issue. this is an important debate that should be on the public forum for the right reasons. but i can't make it to dublin, so how do i get involved with alliance for choice.
