Young fella does a good job representing for Ireland

The Thursday March 6th Democracy NOW! (http://www.democracynow.org) which will be up shortly as a Real Player stream contained phone interviews with students from around the world on the Walkout against the War. Some young fella did a good job stating what the perspectives from Ireland (North and South war).

The interview will be up in about 5 hours in RealPlayer format and the whole show will be available in mp3 format.

Apparently in the States the high-school authorities called the police to give students citations, load them into buses and ferry them back to school. Other schools went into "lockdown" in which noone was allowed in/out (easier in the States because a lot of schools are set up as high security units with cops checking bags for weapons in the front hall).

Still, students from all over came out to (as one American girl put it) tell Bush to "screw himself".
