Local 100 of New York City's Transport Workers Union has invited Bernadette Devlin-McAliskey to address the union's annual James Connolly and Michael Quill Commemoration on March 14. McAliskey said she was quite happy to accept but didn't know if she could make it as her situation with regard to entry to the U.S. was unclear. The TWU, an industrial union, is a living embodiment of the principles of James Connolly.
