Green Party Press Release

Green Party Social and Family Affairs spokesperson, Dan Boyle T.D., has strongly condemned the Government attempts to strike references to children's rights from the next European Union treaty.

"This proposal smacks of a Government that places money ahead of children's rights. Our European Union partners must be told in no uncertain terms that the position being adopted by the Irish government is not consistent with the views
of the Irish people."

P.S. As I find out more detailed info on this I will post it - graham
