Jump To Comment: 1 2Education Minister Noel Dempsey is on his rounds to public meetings at the moment. Tonight (Tuesday) he is at Cork's Rochestown Park Hotel to tell the teachers what a magnificent deal he's offering in relation to supervision and substitution.
Since Dempsey's move is blatantly anti-trade union and an attempt to undermine the ASTI, lets use the opportunity to get our point across to Dempsey on the war and Ireland's involvement in it.
The Cork Anti-War Campaign will be demonstrating tonight at the Rochestown Park from 6.30pm. Teachers Against War are also going to be there. Join us and let Noel regret his decision to hold public meetings.
To get to the Rochestown Park take the main Passage West road (AKA the Rochestown Road) from the Fingerpost. the Hotel is about quarter of a mile out on the left-hand side.
Teachers against the war what a load of crap. It seems to me that they are yet another SWP cover group that has been created in order to undemocratically take over the IAWM on March 9th
