Gay is correct to distance a responsible party from anarchists,socialists and naked protesters of all sorts, and he is showing why Fine Geal is steadily rising again in the opinion poles.
All right thinking people must surely welcome Gay Mitchell's outspoken statement. It is to be hoped that the Gardai will monitor the march for any signs of anti US flag burning,violence or even worse any displays of nudity. It is also my wish that once responsible Christian Democratic countries come to their senses and kick out of power anti USA socialists and Green governments. A return to Christian Democrat governments in Germany would ensure support for the USA and Britain in times of war and would be better all around. This would avoid a harmful trans atlantic rift and be vital to the defense structures necessary in the new EU. I welcome the openness of the former communist countries to change and progress and their welcome support for the US and Britain in these difficult times.

And as for your support of the Christian Democrats and all them geezahs, what about your christian beliefs, obviously you put them to one side when you think about your pocket. And remember too that that being a 'proud'finegael member means that you're already a sinner!
Any chance you could give us a link to the words of the Great Man? if it's so profound and wise shouldn't we all get to read it, not just the chosen few?

Oh that such laudable sentiments were expressed by Fine Gael circa 1934 in relation the March on Dublin.
You know - the one the fascists bottled out of then they heard the IRA would be waiting in overhead sniping positions on Westmoreland St. And Dev's lads weren't too happy either.
However I assume the poster is a troll - even the most mentally restricted member of FG is unlikely to go on about 'opinion poles', whatever they are.
You can read one account of it on page 14 of today's Irish Times! Those who can read that is. The article also talks about differences between our party and the labour peaceniks. Dick Spring should have expelled a few more of them. Fine Geal is back boys, people like John Bruton have been doing great work behind the scenes which will be paying off in the new EU constitution very soon. You lefties will be in for a rude shock almost as rude as your naked anti war displays.
I must say this return to the stern disciplinary past of Fine Gael is getting me all excited. I'm looking forward to chasing Enda all the way down O'Connell st, me naked with a burning US flag, him in one of those lovely blue shirts you guys used to strut around in.
