Jump To Comment: 1 2 3The problem is largely due to subcontracting as nobody takes ownership for safety problems. I had dinner with a former oilfield engineer the other day and he was telling me how smaller companies in very remote places are notorious for safety and environmental problems as they are not accountable in the way, big rich companies are. That is, they can't so easily be sued.
Subcontractors have no problem taking ownership of profits, however.
These are the people that you pinko fluffs on indymedia should be orientating towards. NOT Mary Kelly/ Catholic Worker/ Peace Camp / Carrickminders middle class gobshites.
VICTORY TO THE BUILDING WORKERS!
LONG LIVE THE WORKERS STATE!
DEATH TO PETTY BOURGEOIS PACIFIST REFORMISM!
FOR WORKERS OPPOSITION TO THE WAR IN IRAQ!
DEFEND NORTH KOREAS RIGHT TO NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
The alleged Spartacist seems more like a troll, but it has brought up an interesting point that it might not be aware of; 80% of people in surveys identify as being "middle class". In the USA 50% of people interviewed think that they're in the top 1% of income earners!
Similarly it would seem that the thing that posted above believes that everyone is middle class whereas we're all working class. None of us own the means of production (EXCEPT INDYMEDIA) and we all get wages.
So lets knock Indymedia and the people that took the photos. Right? What's wrong with that idea?.....is it Troll Logic?
Thanks for photos RedJaDe
