Aer Rianta Goons try to take down the Peacecamp

The fun has started!

Aer Rianta goons arrived at the camp at 12 today and started to try to take it down, when challenged they claimed that they were giving us until 2.30 to clear the site and then they would inpound everything to the Gardai. They have left but are supposed to be coming back
We have spoken to the Duty Mananger and local Garda Inspector so we may have a stay of execution.

The fun has just begun

they are not goons, they are workers.

a past indymedia report said that some had come to demonstrations.

Do not fault someone for doing their job, condemn their bosses, yes

No I am not talking about the workers they were ok, actually helpful, it was onr of the airport managers that was being goon like.

The latest is that after we contacted the Gardai and the the duty manager of the airport explained that we can not do magic that we would need some time to get the stuff off the site they have backed off a bit. They are going to get rid of the pallets and carpets etc. we can take anything we want off the site.
