With war looming, just to put things in perspective, check out this site. http://www.sunshine-project.org/ Details of serious allegations as regards US-backed biological weapons plans for Columbia, US covert chemical weapons activities, US special forces actively canvassing the science community for Genetically Engineered bioweapons, and the legal status or otherwise of all of the above. I have to say that this makes pretty scary reading, and that it puts the 'does he or doesn't he have weapons of mass destruction' argument into context.

throw of the dice of global Capitalism as it transmutes itself into
a global totalitarian system. The gloves are off. The pretense of
democracy that has existed since the end of WW II is over.
The tools of war you have uncovered in the sunshine-project are the ones
that are going to be used on all of us, especially dissenting voices.
The looming Iraqi war is just the same thing at a higher scale. That war
is a demo war for other States in the world that might dare challenge the
US and carries the implicit message, that we will obliterate you if you do
not obey the US.
