Monopolise Resistance, part 2

Question (Joe Carolan): "If GR disappeared from the scene, would the movement in Ireland be richer?" Answer: "Yes".

Yesterday Joe Carolan posted the full version of his GR Bulletin twice (!). Darling Joe, couldn't you just post the URL, so that people who are interested in your "organ" download it at leisure?
As regards your question - "If GR disappeared from the scene, would the movement in Ireland be richer?" - the answer is, of course, "yes".
As everybody knows, GR is a front organisation set up by the Socialist Worker Party in order to try to cash in (read "recruit and sell the paper") on the success of the anti-capitalist movement. There are basically two reasons why the SWP had to set up a front organisation. The first one is that 99.9% of ordinary working class people don't want to have anything to do with the SWP (most working class people, frankly, would quite literally run a mile in order to avoid having to say "Hello" to a SWP member); the second reason is that the SWP had to try to hide the fact that the anti-capitalist movement has shown that there are far more effective and appealing ways of fighting capitalism than being pushed around by middle-class professorial pseudo-radicals - read the Party "central committee" - such as, say, Kieran Allen or Marnie Holborow.

Would the SWP ever consider disbanding and allow the engry that is being wasted by their young militants to be put into something more constructive while they are going through their middle class socialist stage. Thats before they ethier get a job a return to their hertiage or take to the trees in acts of idioitcy. Its all about unity and the SWP are all about fantasy. in the upcoming election please get behind realistic left wing candidates.

Yes. Fair play to Marcos. These people are a pain in the neck and if we let them get away with it they will destroy the anti-capitalist movement.

He has never organised anything worthwhile in his life and should leave it to the real grassroots movements. He should go and sell Socialist Worker newspapers in the Southside of Dublin 4 where he belongs.

Come on, be serious. The Bolsheviks actually did a revolution. These middle-class guys wouldn't recognize a revolution if it hit them on the head.

Look at Joe just observe his cynical behaviour. When his dirty tricks are exposed, he sends a message in which he parades himself as a model activist. But he will not face the mounting criticism coming from the movement. Oh no, he won't.

Come on...
Fine, you hate GR. Stop posting this shit. No one wants to have the newswire become a place to target individuals and bash them. Is this 'Monopolise Restance' really news?
We all have a bigger common goal - global justice.
So no-one likes the SWP. Fine, just leave 'em to it. There are more important issues.

The only way we can achieve our common goal is by getting rid of the scabs within our ranks!
