WP condemn arrest of 17 Dublin building workers

Seventeen building workers arrested this morning (Wednesday) at the Collen site (formerly Park Motors) on North Circular Road, Dublin 1. They are charged with breach of an Injunction and will appear in the High Court at 2pm today.


The Workers’ Party has condemned the arrest this morning of seventeen building workers who were picketing a building site on Dublin’s North Circular Road.

Workers’ Party spokesman on Justice, Equality & Law Reform Seán Ó Cionnaith said that the arrests show once again that working class people are treated differently under the law than those with wealth.
