West Papua speaker in NUIG

SEM KAROBA will be in Galway Thurs 23rd January Sem Karoba is a West Papuan revolutionary tribesman and musician, banned from playing music in his own country & hunted by the Indonesian government

He will give a talk & slideshow in NUIG room AM150 in the Arts Millenium building at 7PM, & he'll be playing in O'Malley's, Prospect Hill, Galway that night around 10PM with sativa, a local group, admission e4. Proceeds from the gig will go to help out Sem spreading awareness of what's going on in his country.

army. I know that I am on a death roll. I will die on the hands
of the Indonesian government, police and army. I want to tell
you about my background, my beliefs, my views on West
Papua politics and other information that I want to tell the
world before something bad happens to me; -from the jungles
of West Papua, a land I was born into and for which I am
ready to die, and into which I will be buried for my next life."
