The newspaper interviewed workers at Shannon warport who claim that they have seen weaponry on the US planes landing at the airport and that troops arriving are fully armed and in combat clothing.

The Irish govt has said all along that this has not happened. The workers at the airport claim that authorities turn a blind eye to the practice.

The presence of armed US troops and weaponry is illegal in Ireland and a mockery of so called Irish neutrality once more it has also shown the contempt of the Irish government toward the irish people and the support of the Irish government for an all out war against Iraq.
