brief tourist guide to where we will all be next June
Next years G8 summitt will be hosted in Evian Les Bains, a gorgeous little French resort near 45km south of Geneva and 450km south of Paris, on the weekend of 1 -3 June. With a population of just 7,500, Evian is a small town. However, despite having a mere 900 beds available to tourists, I am sure we can all sleep on the beach. Anyone know of any plans?

Jump To Comment: 1 2I think the protests are going to be held in Grenoble, which is the nearest big town. Activists in Canada did the same thing last year where thousands marched in Calgary.
I know its early, but has any group in Ireland made any tentative plans for travelling to G8 next summer? Maybe we should consider forming a representational organising network to do so, get GG, GR, any groups, individuals on board etc. before one group hogs it and we go down the old roads?
