Latest News, Bus and Meeting

Bus on Sunday and Meeting on Tuesday.

Shannon Transport:

A bus is being organised to transport people to
Shannon for the demonstration against military
re-fuelling on December the eight,
to book a place phone 087 9935876,
or e-mail galwaytoshannon@yahoo.com.

Places cost 10 euro waged, 5 euro unwaged and children go free.

All welcome.

The bus will be leaving the Quad. @ 10.15 am, Sunday morning, it should be back in Galway by 8pm anyways, but we ought leave that for all the people on the bus to decide, in line with changing events.

The Quad. is the old gothic building in NUIG (UCG),the University, it’s the first thing you come to if you go in the main entrance.

Buses will also be leaving Cork and Dublin, as well as Galway, and probably Sligo and Limerick also.

A diversity of tactics is being facilitated.

Shannon Meeting:

For Non-Violent Direct Action discussion, and
banner/placard making (if people bring along ideas and materials), that’s at AM 109 (in the big new building in the University, the first that you come to if you enter from the entrance near Newcastle post office) on Tuesday the 3rd of December from 7 to 9.30.

If you want to go on the bus, please come to this to prepare for the day, if you can, please also bring materials for banner making if you want to do that, as this is a D-I-Y operation. It would also be convenient to bring along money for your ticket.

If you cannot come don’t worry as you can get a place on the bus by phoning the above number or by e-mailing the above address.

Remember if you want a place on the bus, phone or
e-mail us, mentioning it to me when you run into me will not work as I have a head like a sieve.
