Practical support for firefighters

I was wondering if there is any group or party involved in raising funds to support the fire-fighters in Britain. Emails and letters of support are all well and good but we can't really lobby Labour MPs effectively on this side of the water but I would like to give some financial assistance and work with anyone else trying to raise same. Any suggestions?
