The True Spies series will be of interest to anyone on the left.
The True Spies series on BBC2 is featuring Secret Service infiltration of the Left in Britain in the 70s and 80s
The first episode in the series dealt with infiltration in to Trotskyist groups. The programme interviewed spies, and left-wing activists at the time. Tariq Ali (of the IMG) was interviewed, as was Roy Tomlinson (father in the Royle Family programme) Tomlinson was close to the Healyite WRP at the time.
The Secret Service also infiltrated groups like the Anti-Apartheid campaign in Britain. The 2nd highest member was a spy!

The next programme deals further with Arthur Scargill
