Is Mick Wallace a descendant of “The Wallace” of Scottish ‘Braveheart’ fame?

This one man is doing more to get publicity on Nice and the coming war than the whole Anti War Movement put together.

Someone should take a photo of his “No to Nice No to War, No To US Imperialism” giant banner beside the millennium bridge and put it up on the front page of indymedia. The Anti War Movement should replace whoever is mismanaging their publicity at this time and get Wallace instead as he has a bit more imagination. If not this they should get somebody who can actually write a press release as the media is actually looking for statements from groups who are saying No to Nice, in order not to appear to be totally imbalanced in favour of the yes men. This is of course hypocritical but what can you expect from Tony O Reilly’s media and coverage should still be got where possible.

why are the buses that they are wild goose chasing down to shannon on, not being used to campaign in the many areas in this country where much of the population are not recieving any information from asn of the No campaigns, even from Justin the turkey.

They fucked up the last march unlike the massive ones abroad, and they have managed to get no publicity during Nice, when it was there for the taking now thats quiet an achievement for the IAAM and they should immediately replace the swm publicity person, with someone who knows what they are doing or everyone is totally wasting their time on travelling on saturday (and it will be swm as they love to grab that position and then do nothing with it).

he had taken up arms in insurrection in revenge for the killing of his family and "dearbhfinne" extended tribal/social community.
Thus he has left us no descendents except for those from third cousins. The tribal society he was trying to defend was a form of anarcho-syndicalist agricultural collective.
The term "taosaich" and "tainiste" linger on in Irish government as a reminders of such "tribal/social" organisation. The English under Elizabeth 1 replaced most "gaelic" titles with "feudal anglo-norman" ones that is ones which were hereditary and patro-linear. Before the Normans arrived both saxon and celtic societies were organised around collective assembly and election of "leaders". (Read Asterix for more info on elections of chiefs).

The writer is correct, Wallace and his banner in particular are doing more to counteract the thousands of yes billboards and posters than the IAAM, whether this is because whoever writes their press releases is useless or whether they are infiltrated by the yanks is open to question.
