Jump To Comment: 1 2The protest took place because of the very poor conditions for design students at the college at Mountjoy Square in Dublin. Funds were cut by up to 75% for this term, more than in any other college.
Students are being sent home at the moment because there are no lecturers, no rooms and no materials. Under the current conditions 4th years legally won't be able to get their degree, because most conditions are not be fullfilled.
The protest moved on to Pembroke St. - Join if you can!
TV3 took an interview with some of the organisers. Don't know if or when it will be screened.
That's all I know for the moment. Stay tuned.. Meinhard.
