The Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein, before the public relations guard of the muslims was up. Here's what he said:

The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of
a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our
struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab
unity. In reality today there is no difference between
Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only
for political and tactical reasons do we speak today
about the existence of a Palestinian people, since
Arab national interests demand that we posit the
existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose
Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign
state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to
Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can
undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and
Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to
all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to
unite Palestine and Jordan.

That's pretty clear, isn't it? And it is hardly the
only such statement of its kind. Arafat himself made a
very definitive and unequivocal statement along these
lines as late as 1993. It demonstrates conclusively
that the Palestinian nationhood argument is the real
strategic deception ? one geared to set up the
destruction of Israel.

In fact, on the same day Arafat signed the Declaration
of Principles on the White House lawn in 1993, he
explained his actions on Jordan TV. Here's what he
said: "Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do
this in stages. We take any and every territory that
we can of Palestine, and establish a sovereignty
there, and we use it as a springboard to take more.
When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to
join us for the final blow against Israel."

No matter how many people convince themselves that the
aspirations for Palestinian statehood are genuine and
the key to peace in the Middle East, they are still
deceiving themselves.

Wills and the like are anti Jews. Israel does not hate muslims or Arabs, the Arabs are very good at hating each other, its only there hatred of Israel that unites them.

Support for Arab regimes who deny their own people free rights deserve no support from from the free democratic countries of the West. The fact is if Arab countries were democratic there probably would be no conflict in the Middle East. Turkey which is a muslim country has excellent relations with Israel. They are a democracy and are not fooled by the deception of Arafat and the the autocrats of the Arab World.

If you beleive in the false cause of Palestinians or a Palestinian State YOU ARE AN ANTI JEW PERIOD. Prior to 1967 no Arab ever refered himself as a Palestinian. Even the anti jew European press never used the term until after 1967.

The only Palestinians were the Jews of the British Mandate who changed to Israeli when Israel declared its independence.

The Arabs do not wish to create a Palestinian state but to destroy the Jewish State. Any one who believes otherwise is delusional.

Peace can only be achieved when full and final defeat is recognised by either side. For now the Jews are winning. Is that too bad for the anti jews of Indy media.

Ireland is an ANTI ISRAEL/JEWISH country. I lived there for 30 years and what I read on Indy Media and the main line press is a disgrace. Brian Cowen the Foreign Minister is an anti jew and a scum bag.

What does that make all the Jewish people who support a Palestinian state? What does that make the Israeli conscientious objectors? The Jewish academics leading an academic boycott of Israel? Even the British Chief Rabbi has criticised Israel?
What are they?

This recurring ad hominem attack is a pathetic attempt to avoid facing up to the Israeli state's barbaric treatment of the Palestinian people. You're not fooling anyone.

The quote from the Palestinian guy might be genuine enough, without justifying the conclusions reached by the author of the article. Only when understood in the context of nationalist assumptions would it be discrediting to the PLO as the author triumphantly takes it to be.

Those assumptions are along the lines of: nations exist and have the right to homelands. If one studies history you realise that nations are imagined communities, which only recently became associated with the phenomenon of nation-states.

The right of people to self-determination, however, includes the right to describe oneself (or not to) as a member of a nation and to organise along that principle (or others). Clearly the Zionist state has used its citizens' right to self-determination to justify denying the same right to others.

after having spent two weeks at an "inter-cultural" racism issue conference visited several camps where refugees from the West Bank live within sight of their homeland.
The activist informed us there is a growing tendency amongst the Jordanian "middle class" to resist further connection between Jordan and the Palestinian people.
This is important.
The palestinian people are reconised internationally as having had a clearly defined national territory before 1967.
At the least: we the international community would like to see a return to the 1967 situation.
We will go on about this again,

Many jews are ashamed or fearful of their own heritage. They have been assimulated into westen culture and subject to the brain washing of liberal leftist fantasies.

85% of the Jews who left biblical Egypt wanted to return to Egypt and conspired to worship a false idol (Golden Calf). The Jews who support a Palestinian State or believe in the so called justice for the non existant Palestinian race are JEWISH ANTI JEWS and can be compared to the 85% who left biblical Egypt.
