A MESSAGE TO THE GARDAI SIOCHANA

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Sunday September 22, 2002 11:35author by mr O´ as if - reclaim the streetsauthor email ipsiphi23 at email dot comauthor address under your feet!author phone oh now... Report this post to the editors

and the journalists of UNISON, IRISHTIMES and RTE

HI LADS! now we all remember a day back in 1979 when there were no cars on the streets of Dublin it was when the Pope came, lovely man the pope. He is on what we in the know call the white block of pacifists and religious people. Though occasionally he is on other blocks too. When he prayed against human genetics with the Imam of Damascus a while back he was on he green block as well. Do ou see how it works? You are the blue block. Because you wear blue. Now we don´t call you blue block everywhere. Becuase in some places you don´t wear blue. Back to the Phoenix park, I went for a pee behind a tree (I was sent by the mammy, and it was before my first communion so I don´´t think it was a mortal)

And I saw the helicopters the norwegian state lent you for a few days.
Great helicopters lads.
You painted them all grey with big GARDA letters on the side and another one white for the Pope.
Now today no-one is using helicopters like that.
They are very noisy, helicopters.
We on the green and black block say that is acoustic pollution.
Do you worry about that lads?
WE DO.
They also have an observed effect of adding to the nerves mostly for you guys.
You see you might be wearing lots of new equipment today, ever wondered who buys, sells or makes that equipment lads?
WE DO.
For Reclaim the Streets! days of celebration
carnival stuff, no car stuff,
people on the streets exchanging the future.
we recommend you try to be very very nice.
remember the Pope.
If there is an ambulance comnig through, ´shout loudly ambulance.
The people will disperse.
It will help if you say please.
you see you aren´t in control today.
more information is being digitalised in Dublin than is used at a eurovision contest.
measured in GIGABYTES!
and hassling indymedia activists doesn´t stop that, because lots of us are indoors as well.
and look around our global sites.
really don´t we have a great set-up.

Isn´t Sineid o Connor a lovely girl?
You might see flags being burnt today or writing on the wall.
well lads the writing is on the wall isn´it?
leave it there.
And think of young Charlie Haughey wasn´t he always a bit of a rascal with his flag burning high jinks.

Now the reason no-one gives you advice on controlling these days is ´coz no-one organises them.
That is a very serious socio-political effect called non-organisation and fluid organisation.
It makes lots of clever people´s heads hurt trying to figure that one out so I´d leave it alone for the time being, I´m not being cheeky, but if you think about it do it in your free time.

Anyway have a lovely day.
lovely does it.
you don´t have to work too hard.

and think about scaring people.
we are all scared.
we are all terrorised
by the WAR by THORP by our very dismal looking future.
and today you are blue block anonymous police.
not your friendly Pope in the Park comely maidens at the crossroad sort of think.
Today for many you are the symbol of global oppression and greed.
So be a little apologetic.

Now Superintendents.
(I haven´t forgotten ye)
pull back your forces almost out of sight.
as you know Dublin has no central assembly area becuase the British planned it that way.
Ye will have now been looking at lots of files and stuff and slowly building quite a bit of respect for the games of Reclaim the Streets! and the activities of all the blocks.
Black Green White and Red.
you also know THORP is very much involved.
you also know NICE is very much involved.
So weigh up "public order" v "open debate and sub-cultural things"
keep your lads calm.
allow them smoke cigarettes.
allow them tap their feet to the music.
and don´t go for intimidating.
intimidating is very bad.
none of us like that.
anyway lovely does it.

More people log on to indymedia.org
everyday than REUTERS.
more people write and video and photo for indymedia than Unison.
If we were a state, we would have more computing power than the poorest 130 states.

under your feet!

since many of our friends were involved in the research and development of SSRI drugs, and the nineties Pheno- group of drugs using those discoveries.
Since we hosted MR SHulgin in 1991 for a recipe meet- in.
Since we work in the pharamceutical industry worldwide it is possible you´ve actually taken our medicine.

RTS is transantional.
and the thickest of gardaí have an average IQ of 100.
The smartest of the underground are 160.
Which is why are malcontented.
And thought up the catalyst thing.

I think scum are SCUP.

so is the great man.
so is Putin.
so is Bertie.
so is Michael.
so is Sweden.
so is Mr Blix.
so is indymedia.
so is RTS!
so is the phoenix park.
so are the lads and ladettes.

Oh wouldn't it all be great in a ring-binder?
or folio leather covering,
"how the Great Gazebo got built".

russia was strange, lots of strange stuff out there, problems as yet unspoken, poverty as yet un-told, exploitation as yet unanalysed, terrorist events more often than admitted.
and now it's our eastern border.

Sweden, went through such trauma in the last years of the Bush Presidency.

anyway, pretty much the same vibe.
Phoenix park of course was closed
this mayday, but that RTS today will be "nice" and the Gardaí will get their relaxation as well.

disperse well.
love you.
you are "my little babies"
