scary stuff, the things they do to genetically modify our food. But now they are giving drugs to our plants to make them look nicer and last longer.
Superquin has launched a new drug for their lettuce, dubbed Vi-aqua, viagra for lettuce. The drug is administered to all the lettuce plants sold in their stores at present. It is said to make lettuce "bigger, stronger and longer lasting" by messing with the way the plant absorbs nutrients. It passes an electric current through the plant, chargin the water used in its growth. This scary new drug that creates 'super lettuce' should be avoided at all costs. It has only been recently approved, and testing has not been extensive, to say the least. Boycott superquin and all lettuce-ee type products which have been given this strange drug. There, as far as I could find out, have been no tests done to see if it has any side effects if consumed.
