Stand With Jobstown - Sat 6th May @ 2pm in Tallaght

category dublin | rights, freedoms and repression | event notice author Wednesday May 03, 2017 22:51author by 1 of indy Report this post to the editors

Defend the Right to Protest

Stand with the defendants, stand with Jobstown, stand with Tallaght. Send a clear message to the establishment politicians and the Gardaí - Tallaght is united in support of the protesters and the right to protest.

Please come to the Stand With Jobstown March - Saturday 6 May at 2pm.

Assemble: Swimming Pool (Jobstown) OR The Square Luas Stop
Both marches will come together in Jobstown

The trial of Jobstown protestors is currently taking place and we need your solidarity more than ever. This is an attack on the right to protest, but it is also an attack on the working class communities of Tallaght. They wanted to ban anyone from Tallaght and anyone opposed to water charges on social media from the jury.

We are all on trial.

In her evidence, Joan Burton stated that she feared for her life. What exactly is she saying about the people of Jobstown? People were justifiably angry, but there was never any threat to her personally.

Even after all the cuts, this is a new low for Joan Burton and Labour, grossly exaggerating and fabrciating events for political benefit. She doesn't care about spreading lies and destroying the lives of protesters.
