When: Friday, 16th May 2014 from 12 midday to 2pm On Friday 16th May, Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney will host an animal welfare conference in Dublin Castle to explain the contents of the new Animal Welfare Act, which has recently come into law.

Jump To Comment: 1 2I hope the minister listens but I wouldn't hold my breath. the whole conference is a pr stunt to cover up the deal the foxhunters and coursers got via the Act. It protects them instead of the animals!
I'll be there with the Cat Protection groups because feral cats got bad deal in the animal welfare Act.
