Walk for your Rights Walk for Irish-language Rights - going from Parnell Square to Leinster House to impress on the government the need for rights for the Irish language. The most important march for the Irish language in years will be on this coming Saturday at 2 p.m. starting from the Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square, Dublin. It is very important that there is a big crowd there, to show our dissatisfaction with the Government on its Irish Language Policy. Be there, spread the word and bring out as many friends as possible, be they Irish speakers or not. This question involves everyone in society. The Irish speaking community will be gone from the Gaeltacht in about 15 years if there is nothing done. This is our chance to save our national identity and heritage. |
